Getting a late start in life, Scott didn't start playing guitar until thirteen. His main influence at the time was the Beatles, but this would not stay the case for long. He quickly soaked up the rhythmic stylings of any classic rock bands' records he could get a hold of; from The Doors, to Queen, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, all the way to Z Z Top. Scott started playing open mics around Chicago and also became a Guitar Tech for the Envoys. He credits John McCurley and Dan Peters for teaching him those sweet guitar slinging skills. Scott also credits AC/DC for teaching him the ways of ROCK!!!
Scott spent his daylight hours in the Service Industry, as a server/bartender until that fateful day when he met lead singer JD. JD had been moonlighting from his day job as a chef, singing Frank Sinatra tunes (very well, I might add). Scott knew when he met JD that it was meant to be, and started a band with him immediately. Scott has an influential roll in the Steel Chops sounds and continues to write new rock'n tunes. You can usually find Scott out in the audience during live shows revving up the ladies on the dance floor!
